We’re not convinced that you need tips but we want to use the space we’ve got on the newsletter. If there is a cold southerly blowing on a Sunday morning and you’re finding it hard to get out on the bike have a go at breaking your chain and then fixing it, then do it again with your eyes closed. Practising could save you 30 minutes when you snap a chain climbing out of the Phantom River in a howling Norwester.
