A couple of days to go and there are a few things we would like to clear up:

• You must supply your own tent, 1 per team;
• Photos will be available for purchase in Tekapo, cash only;
• Mechanics and massages will be available nightly, but the coffee has fallen through, if anyone knows someone free let us know;
• Registraton is at the Mt Somers Holiday Park on Hoods Road in Mt Somers, from 10.00am until 11.30am;
• You must supply your own snacks and food for riding; and
• The prizegiving function is at the Mt John Homestead Lodge, last place on left as you head out of Tekapo heading south on the main road, just past Peppers Bluewater behind the tussock bank. 5 minutes walk from the center of town;
• You need to book your own accomodation for Saturday night in Tekapo, it would be worth trying Peppers Bluewater who have a 25% Alpine Epic discount, or the Lake Tekapo Holiday Park, both of which are a short stroll from the hotpools...

The weather is looking more settled for later in the week, however rain is pretty likely and rivers have been high in them there hills. Be prepared for some chilly evenings and wet socks.
